Caroline graduated with first class honours in Graphic Arts and Design; specialising in Illustration from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2008.

In her final year she won a competition to be commissioned by the producers of the Bourbon Whisky, ‘Maker’s Mark’. Caroline was asked to create an illustration to be exhibited in a bar restaurant in Leeds to promote the brand. Since the exhibition her piece has been taken to the Maker’s Mark distillery in Kentucky to be put on display.

Caroline's work is influenced by traditional values and ideals. This interest along with the handcrafted look has led her to use traditional forms of image making, such as screen printing and photography.

She has a strong interest in pattern and detail and seeks to use this interest alongside her enjoyment of the simple form.
