During my childhood I spent lots of hours watching my grandfather painting in his studio. Later on I worked as assistant to my mother, who is also an illustrator.
These facts might be related to my decision of giving up my postgraduate on Biology and Philosophy of Science in order to take on studies on Illustration and Graphic Design in the Escuela de Arte nº10, in my hometown Madrid, where I was born in 1976.
My whole professional career has ever since my graduation focused on graphic creation. I have lived in Madrid, Barcelona and London, and then back to Madrid, cities in which I worked for different magazines, newspapers, publishing houses, graphic studios and advertising agencies.
The world of amazing creatures among which I live is the best excuse I could found so that life will not force me to grow nor to end up carrying out the orders and whims of a boss.
